Call for Submissions!
We're all about what makes prose lyrical. We don't believe in writers sticking to a single genre. Give us your poetry, your hybrids, your prose that sings, your creative nonfiction. We want emotion - make us feel. Make the darkness beautiful.
Minimalism is sometimes called the "bare bones" of literature. That's what we want. Stories stripped down to the most necessary words. To the most vital, the very skeleton. But they must be a complete story, with a full arc.
Please submit nothing more than 1,500 words (total) - this means multiple submissions, as well - to rhythmnbonessubs@gmail.com.
Please include 'Submission' in the subject of the email.
*We are interested in longer fiction pieces for possible serialization. Please state in your submission email, in a short cover letter, if this is your intent with your submission.* (See below for details.)

***Please Note: Issue One and Two are FULL for poetry & we are still considering some subs for Issue Two. If you want to be included in Issue Two (upcoming October) please submit Creative Nonfiction, Artwork, Photography, or Flash Fiction (limited space remaining for fiction!).***
We'll accept submissions on a rolling basis for future issues until we are at full capacity!

Response Times
Response times vary by volume of submissions. You may query after one month, please include the date that you submitted and the title of your pieces.
Copy & paste your submission into the body of the email or attach as .doc, .docx, or .pdf. (.jpg for art & photos).
We accept simultaneous submissions but please let us know as soon as possible if your submission is accepted elsewhere!
Please include a short cover letter, a short bio and author pic with your submission.
Poetry
Please limit your submission to 5 pieces of poetry.
Flash / Fiction
Please limit your submission to 5 pieces of flash or 2 pieces of longer fiction.
Artwork / Photography
Please limit your submission to 8 pieces of art/photography.
By submitting to us, you grant us one-time Electronic Rights to feature your work on our site. After which we request you site us as the original publication but you may do with your work as you wish.
